A STORY

What is the intention of the authors when they tell us A Story? Is it the truth or lie? But then, how about diaries? Any personal diaries are consisted of true stories that happened to a person, about what the person thought and felt from those happenings. It is a record of the events, and sometimes it should not be conveyed to anyone else. Those stories are written by someone, but stories may not be shared to anyone. Do they want to be anonymous? But, still they want to write down their personal things? Why?

Humankind is living with their curiosity to proceed lives under any circumstances. Therefore, we read, listen, speak, and touch, in order to collect new knowledges through the experience by submitting and receiving, to ‘understand what it is’ and ‘how it is’. We always seek the truths and meanings. What kind of meanings do we find when something is happening, or/and someone is doing something. The diary writing is one of Narisawa’s creative process to draw collaborator’s personal stories out of them and extract them over and over again to sound like abstract texts.
